Its flame retardant principle:
Melamine cyanurate (MCA) sublimates and absorbs heat, reduces the surface temperature of polymers and eliminates air, which can accelerate the dissolution of droplets, take away heat and combustibles, change the thermal oxygen degradation process, and quickly carbonize them to form incombustible carbons. These carbons are covered on the surface of the substrate due to expansion and foaming to form an insulating layer, which separates the contact with air and the escape of combustibles, so as to effectively prevent the continuous combustion of materials. At the same time, The non combustible gas produced by decomposition expands the material to form an expansion layer, which can greatly reduce the thermal conductivity and is conducive to the self extinguishing of the material.
